I have a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and a M.Sc. degree in Bioinformatics for the Health Sciences. I joined the Ph.D. program in Biomedicine in September 2012. My current interests are the regulation of gene expression and alternative splicing by small non-coding RNAs, and particularly the development of computational methods for the prediction of targets that might be regulated by those small non-coding RNAs. I’m also interested in the analysis of high-troughput sequencing data and in machine learning.
